Braided crown with twisted mini buns.

So instead of sticking to the list i decided to go all creative and create another style. It was super cute and lasted 2 days, this is what i did:

Step one: part hair on right side and section enough hair to make a small head band braid braid all the way to end Repeat on other side.

Step two: leaving braids out put the rest of hair into bun.

Step three: make four sections with the ponytail and turn them into four two strand twists.

Step four: take one two strand twist and mak it into a bun and secure with hair pins. Repeat with remaining twists.

Step five: criss- cross the two braids and then wrap around bun securing with hair pins.

And thats it super simple but it looks super cute! If you want the style to last a few days than make sure to sleep with a scarf on. Oh and remove the hair pins before bed, trust me you dont want to fall asleep with them!

No number hair style twist out.

So a couple days ago i took out the flat twist across head going into braided bun hairstyle and wow the best twist ou ever i mean the curls were bomb! Exept my hair was sooo dirty (have not shampooed in a week eek!) so sadly i could not wear the twist out because it was just wayy gunky lol.
But heres some pics.
Ps. Srry for bad pics! It was dark an my iphone does not have flash.

No number. Twist across into braided bun.

I keep adding to the list! But ran out of space so this one did not get added.
What i did was first got my hair wet did a green tea apple cider vinegar rinse than put a bunch of hello hydration conditioner in it than put on a shower cap and a towel. I left this on fo like 10 minutes then rinsed, added more conditioner kinda half semi detangled but not really.
So with said conditioner left in a tshirt/towel dryed (tshirt got soaking wet.) and added some palmers replenishing hair milk. I am not gonna lie this was not my first style i tryed half up half down (i have like this phobia of wearing my hair down i think its cute and then my crazyness takes over and says " honey you are not going to make it to waist length in a year if you keep your hair down".) so i did a sode bun but was like ehhh my hairs still out);. After some thinking i decided on this style.
Step one start flat twist on side of head going from ear to ear.

Step two secure with rubber band (left over from style 21. haha recycled).

Step three braid end and make a bun secure with hair pins (my love haha cuz you can sleep in them unlike a hair stick.).

Step four (optional) bin back way to short ugly i hate and can not wait till they grow out bangs with hair clip like device.

Thats pretty much it, i wonder how long it will last? Now heres some pics!(:

21. Dutch braids across head into side bun with head band braids.

MY NEW FAVORITE!!!!! Im serious i love this i just came up with it the other night. My hair was feeling ish after having style # 3. in it (left in for a day) so i cowashed/conditioned than rinsed then added more conditioner (hello hydration) as a leave in then sealed with coconut oil. Anyway i did this on damp hair (hair semi dryed in two braids.) i parted my hair in 2 (top, bottom.) with the top part i made a side part then made 2 small cornrows with my bangs and tied with a rubber band. Then with the top half i did a dutch braid going across, and did the same with the bottom tied both braids with rubber band than used another to make one ponytail. I then two strand twisted it and made a bun and poked 3 hair pins in it. Thats it! Super quicck super simple! After the first day i undid the bun moisturized it (palmers replenishing hair milk.) them braided it and rebuned (is that a word?!?) an called it a night. I did this friday night and am hoping it will last till tuesday:D.

3. Bun with bump

This is one of my favorite styles it is a bun ( another version is 50's updo, which after watching the movie "hipsters" i kinda wanna try something 50's like.) with a bump, but not the small bump but one that uses half your hair its cute.

So what i did was tie my bangs aside than sectioned my hair in half (top, bottom.) with the top i made a bump and twisted the back then pinned it. With the remaining hair i just made a bun ( this would look cute with a pony or braid too.) and then straightend my bang (instyler ofcourse!). Yeah lets just say the bangs didnt last all day i ended up using a clip to hold em back, i really dont like them:(.

Ps. Srry for bad pics! It was end of day and did not have much light.

17. Dutch braid pigtails with side part.

Okay i probably should be starting with the first hairstyle on the list but yeah whatever. Lol.
So tuesday night i washed my hair with the miss jessie sample i got (the super slip shampoo (do not remember the name but it is awesome!) and conditioned/detangled with hello hydration then conditioned again with the conditioner that came with my hair dye. After on damp hair i used shea moisture deep treatment mask as my leave in then used organix anti breakage serum to seal. I then put my hair in 8 braids and covered with my silk scarf then went to bed.
In the morning i just undid the braids and threw my hair into a side bun and went to work, but once i got there i was bored so i decided to do my hair haha. I basicly just parted the front on the side and the back down the middle than dutch braided each side and stopt when i got to the bottom like 2 1/2-3 inches. I secured the ends with orange rubber bands hahah fancy!
I wore this style all yesterday and today but im planing on taking it out tonight to restyle in the morning cuz its looking kinda fuzzy.
Here are the picks taken today.

The hair style list.

So i made a list of hair 20 different hairstyles, my goal is to do all of them (and their variations, like "with bangs", "with accent braids", "bun", "ponytail") and keep them in my hair for 1-4 days depending on the style. When i am done doing all the styles i am going to use the instyler to get my hair silky smooth ahaha. And will post pictures ofcourse! Hopefully it wont rain or snow or any kind of humidity lol.
Anyway i started today i did hairstyle # 17 (at work lol super bored.) the "dutch braid pigtails with side part" i did this with out my bangs on freshly eashed hair that was set with a braid out ober night. Tommorow i will make a post of this with pics. :D But right now i need to clean my room so i will nlog later toodles!

Instyler and black hair.

Edit. I thought this got posted a week ago but i didn't so now i'm reposting. So this is befor i dyed my hair but hair does look really black in second pick yay me.

Soooo i purchased myself the instyler and loreal feria midnight moon dye.
I loooove the instyler it is the best flatiron like device i have ever used got my hair straight in half the time. Only bad thing is it rained... Yeah like it hasnt rained in 80 days and the day i do my hair it starts so my hair has now been deep conditioned and im rocking a braid out turned side bun with braid accent and bangs (which have been pinned back because of the weather);)
But im glad i got it even tho it was 100$!!!! Lol Oh and i got black hair dye because im tired of the red ugh so hopefully soon i will be a sexy goth black lol. I plan to pamper my hair then dye it in a week or few.

Midnight moon

So i did it! Colored my hair black, i used loreal feria in midnight moon which is a cool black. I loveee i can not believe i didnt do this a long time ago.
Omg all i have to say is that the dye sniffed awful! I seriously mixed it up and started applying it in my room (bad idea i know all messy hair escapades should be done in the bathroom...or outside.) but ended up running outside and finishing it on the back porch in the cold wearing my tub top and shorts! Haha. I forgot to time when i finished but i think i left it on half hour (directions said 25 minutes), after that i washed it out and applied most of the conditioner and let that sit on for a couple minutes. It was weird my hair felt more i guess smooth? Maybe from the chemicals? Idk.
After rinsing out the condish i think (yeah i dont remember) put some hello hydration, coconut oil, curl enhancing smoothie, coconut oil in it (cuz you know i wanted to make sure it was super moisturized, pluss it sniffed gross.)

So here are some pics of the process and one of the outcome, it feels so nice for all of my hair to be dark no more light ends (darn sun and salt water) and no more reddish i was so tired of i mean my hair was coming outta my hair looking like i just hennad!

So i will never cut them again. I regret it. I cryed. NEVER AGAIN WILL I CUT MY HAIR. Months untill it will grow back i vow i will never again. I cant wait till it grows back.

Oh ps. I was sitting in my room by my window and sunlight came threw and juSt happened to look in the mirror... Anyway ugh i have auburn highlights (i love being outside in warm sunny weather but gosh i do not like what it does to my hair). My first thought was i need a bottle of blue black asap!

Indigo!!

So i mixed up the indigo with water and a little bit of salt to like a yogurt like texture, it is now sitting in my hair with saran wrap over it plus a sarong lol. I'll prob wash it out at 2:30. Ps it smells like frozen spinich!!!!

My adventures with indigo and mehndi review for rajasthani twilight!!!

Yay so my sample from mehndi.com have arriveeeddd!! I got 3g rajasthani twilight 2.8% lawsone content, and 3g of sudina indigo. Right now as we speak i have the henna (mixed with lemon juiceand let sit about 12 hours overnight) sitting in my bangs( i always test stuff on my bangs first ). So its 10am (early right?) i plan to leave it in for 3 hours sooo 1pmishhh and the when i rinse this out i will mix up my indigo and leave it in for like an hour (or untill i have to leave for work 2:30ish) soo yay! Hopefully it comes out a very dark cool and sexxxy black hopefully like jet black blue black color.

Mehndi review!!!
So as i was mixing up the rajasthani twilight i noticed it was quite stringy! Which is a good quality in hennA, usually when mixing henna for mehndi you mix henna, lemon juice, and sugar i however didnt use sugar in this mix because i was putting it in my hair. Sugar pretty much just makes the henna stay on skin better (if no sugar is added it could just fall off). So i put a big square of leftover henna on my foot (wanted to do hand but it woukd look kinda weird at work to have a brown goo on my hand). I am hoping to get a nice dark reddish colour, because of the high lawsone content 2.8% i have a feeling this is gonna be the shizzle! Lol

So i will update soon (3 hours of my indigo process, and again tommorow for the mehndi review and a peek of my hair, and then again the next day when my mehndi as reached its true color(;.

Butter deep conditioner and smelly hair.

Call me crazy but i did a butter deep condition lol. So heres what i did.
On freshly cowashed and avc rinsed hair i rubbed on the butter lol and but hair into a high bun wrapt a plastic mini garbage bag and then a towel around it. Oh teehee this is the recipe

Butter
Honey
Shea butter
Organic root stimulator replenishing conditioner.

I melted butter and honey in the microwave ( this tastes good on bread, tortillas, and english muffins.)

To the honey butter mixture i added the conditioner and some shea butte rto thicken it up.

Wow so um yeah it made my hair feel great, not as hard to wash out as i thought it would be, buuuut lol my hair sniffed funny later on! I rinsed it out with hot water (NOT THE BEST FOR HAIR , warm water is BETTER. Do as i say not as i do lol) anyway ended updetangling my hair with hello hydration (strong sent) and then rinsed that out and used shea moisture deep treatment mask as my leave in but it still kinda had that umm rancid dairy smell to it. But since my hair felt great i decided to put it in 12 braids for a braid out. The next day i did the dutch braid style.

So lesson learned dairy can be scarey lol Im thinking this would be better as a pre-poo not a afterwash treatment.

Oh p.s. Here are some pics of the post butter braid out before i styled it.

Protective style

So because im now back on the mainland my hair and skin is sooo dry! Lol i have decided with winter coming and what not i seriously need to protective style my hair alot, but i am not allowed to do buns ( i have a serious bun,high bun,messy bun addiction which might end up doing more harm then good ;/) so i came up with this cute french braid hairstyle. This is what i did;
1. On stretched and moisturized hair i frist sectioned off my bangs, then braided the (to keep them out of way).

2. I made a small side part and parted hair down my hairline on both sides, after clipping up the rest of my hair i o applied more moisturizer (shea moisture deep treatment mask) and cornrowed the left side. I stopt braiding when i ran out of hair leaving the ends loose than did the other side.

3. I sectioned the back straight (i think) down the middle, i made 2 dutch braids on on each side and added the hair from the cornrows into the braids.

4. I unbraided my bangs and flat ironed them.
Thats it pretty simple im hoping to get a couple days out of this style. I have been covering it at night with a silk scarf and this morning, if the ends start to unravel or get fozy from like say rubbing against your sweater than just unbraid the very ends smooth more moisturizer on and rebraid. Here are pictures from second day.
